Dream Big Montessori School 2015 Newsletter Final

We just launched our MOST AMAZING Indiegogo campaign!

Yes, you heard us! Last Saturday, we launched our Indiegogo campaign to raise funds for a used school bus. Many of our students have been walking 2 hours to just get to school and we need a more sustainable transport system for our children so that they can get the stellar education they deserve. Help us to help themselves by getting on the bus with us!

From Vancouver with Love…..

From Vancouver with Love.....

Big-hearted Vancouver donors will literally be stars of the Dream Big Montessori School in Tanzania, East Africa when their white, bronze, silver and gold stars fly to Africa tomorrow for photo op with our students, then to become part of our new classroom walls being built right now thanks to the generosity of these donors! Stay tuned for cool updates!!

Happy April!

Nigerian novelist, Chinua Achebe once said: “To me, being an intellectual doesn’t mean knowing about intellectual issues; it means taking pleasure in them.” At Dream Big, that is just the environment we are working to create for our students. As we delve into a new exciting month ahead, here are some pictures to give you a sneak into the progress we have made with our construction!

(In Progress)

There is a famous African proverb that says “If you wish to move mountains tomorrow, you must start by lifting stones today”. During the past week we have made lots of progress with our construction & here are the photos! We are ever so grateful to all the generosity and love we have been getting towards this project!

Progress!
